Happy and Blue 2

“I give up. It’s hopeless!” said Willy. “Why does everything have to be so hard all the time?”

Willy had been trying to clean his room but nothing was working.

When he moved his trucks into one corner then he had no place to put his army men.
And when he stacked his games in another corner they all fell down.
And his books didn’t fit where they should. And his baseball cards weren’t where he wanted them.

(I’m thinking Willy must be from the U.S.A. because Canadian kids have hockey cards and their rooms are always immaculate.)

Anyways, Willy was upset. Poor Willy. Will his room ever get clean???…>>>

Marty didn’t know how it happened but he was tangled up in some roots and he was terrified.

Dig as he might it didn’t really help. In fact the more he dug the more tangled he became. So he did what any self respecting mole would do in such a situation. He started to cry.

His crying didn’t go unnoticed.

A little boy who was playing nearby heard the noise and went over to see what the problem was. Will the boy help Marty or squish him…>>>

Last year, while sitting on my deck, I heard a clicking noise coming from the trees in my back yard. I couldn’t see anything in the trees except for the usual birds and squirrels so it was kind of freaky.

Later that day my neighbor asked if I had seen any racoons. He then showed me poop on his shed roof and accused me of attracting racoons by leaving garbage exposed in my yard. (not true. the city supplies covered garbage containers and I’m really picky about keeping it covered because of mice and squirrels in the neighborhood)

A few days later another neighbor asked me if I had seen the racoons. He then proceeded to tell me how there were two of them in his shed that scared the heck out of his daughter. Did the daughter survive..>>>

Jimmy was mad. Really mad. Really, really mad. Because some girl he didn’t really like all that much was having a party and he wasn’t invited.

So, like any other 12 year old boy would do Jimmy decided to get revenge.

“I shall spoil her party” thought Jimmy. “She’ll never not invite me to her party again”
And then he laughed a maniacal laugh caused mostly because his voice was changing so some of the laugh was in a high pitched voice and the rest was in a deeper voice.

So he hopped on his bicycle and biked next door to his neighbors house. Is Jimmy successful. Find out..>>>

After a long Winter the birds began planning for their trip North. And like all the other birds Birt had lots of things to do before beginning his long journey.

First of all there was the question of what to do with his old home.

Most humans think that birds just abandon their old nests when they leave and then build new nests upon their return but those humans just don’t understand birds.

Birds, like humans, sell their old homes. Or if they are particularly nice, like Birt’s was, they rent them out to other animals until they return in the Fall. Find out why Bert”s face is hidden…>>>
