“Are we there yet?” said Nilly. “How much longer will it take?”

“We aren’t there yet” said Mother. “We’ll be there soon.”

“I’m bored.” said Jilly. “This is so borrrrrinnnngggg!!!!!”

“Read a book or something” said Father.

“Jilly is punching me” said Nilly. “Make her stop.”

“Stop punching Nilly, Jilly” said Mother.

“No I’m not.”said Jilly. “Mom, Nilly is lying. Make him stop lying.”

“Both of you settle down” said Father. “No punching and no lying or I’ll turn this car around and we’ll go home.” Will the trip end here. Find out..>>

During the past few weeks I have been working on producing an e-book. It’s almost finished.

There were several reasons for doing this but my real motivation was just to do it. To learn the process of producing something.

It’s an interesting process.
-You create content. Mine was old stories from previous Happy and Blue 2 blogs.
-You think you are done.
-You realize you aren’t even anywhere near done.
-Your ebook requires a cover and pictures and formatting.
-You think you can do this yourself.
-You realize you can’t and cry uncontrollably for days. Does the crying stop?..>>

My life revolves around work. Usually for someone else. Because they pay me. I like getting paid.
But I do free work as well. Like cleaning my house.

Cleaning my house doesn’t pay me anything so I don’t like that as much. I do it begrudgingly, knowing that the next day it will be messed up again and I will have to waste my time cleaning it.

What I do at work, is for the most part, a repetitive waste of time also but I get paid to waste that time. So I just do the work. Plus, other people I work with are there wasting their time for pay as well. So I can talk to them while we all do nothing world changing.

At home I work alone. Nothing I am doing is world changing there either. So I talk to myself. Or I make up fantasies about changing worlds. Can we really change the world. Find out..>>

When the animals were being created the Rabbits were near the front of the line.

But Rabbits like carrots and all those behind them knew this.

So first the Fox offered them a carrot it they could change places.
And the Rabbits thought it would be ok. Because there would be plenty of fine looking tails and ears left if they moved back one place in line and ate their carrot.

And then the Horses offered them a carrot. Not a terribly good carrot because horses like carrots as well, but a slightly used carrot with wilted leaves.

The Rabbits looked at the carrot and decided it would be ok so they traded places with the Horses. And while they waited in line they ate the carrot. What’s this got to do with tails and ears? Find out..>>

After months of practicing Kelly was ready to give up. Nothing she did on the guitar sounded like anything.

Her friends didn’t want to listen to her any more. They even told her not to play when they were around. In a nice way of course. They were her friends after all.

And her parents were beginning to wonder why they had ever agreed to buy her a guitar in the first place. Or let her take lessons. Especially since they didn’t seem to be helping.

As she sat on her front step staring at the guitar she began to cry.

“Why can’t I do this? Why is everything so hard?” Will Kelly find a tissue to wipe her tears? Will a bear hug her?…>>
