Timmy and the Missing Tooth

14 Feb

Chapter 1
Timmy pushed the tooth with his tongue and it moved. He pushed with his tongue again and out it popped. After bouncing on the floor a few times it ended up in the dog’s water dish.

“What to do? What to do? Timmy screamed in his head.

“I must find my Mommy. She will know what to do” he decided to himself.

But where was his Mommy?

Timmy scanned the kitchen to see if she was there. But he didn’t see her.

After about an hour of scanning he noticed she was sitting at the table.

“Mommy my tooth fell out.” said Timmy.

“It’s a baby tooth.” replied his Mommy looking up from her crossword puzzle.
“Baby teeth have to fall out to make room for your adult teeth.”

“Oh” said Timmy. “Well that explains it then.”

“Keep the tooth and put it under your pillow tonight” said his Mommy. “The Tooth Fairy will come and give you money for it”

Just then the family dog came into the kitchen and headed for his water dish.

“Noooooo” screamed Timmy.

      Ok.
      The dog changed his mind.
Timmy( or whatever his name is) got the tooth and put it under his pillow.
The Tooth Fairy gave him $0.25 for the tooth. ( she’s been hit by the recession as well)

Of course this has ruined my #1 best selling book I was writing.

You know, you don’t always have to bow down to pressure from your #1 fan. Suspense can actually be a good thing, sometimes even pleasurable.

I wonder what will happen in the next instalment. Will the dog get the tooth?
Will Tommy or whatever get his cash from the Tooth Fairy?
Will his Mommy ever solve her crossword puzzle?
Why is it called a crossword in the first place?

Tune in next time for some of these answers…

Oooooooooh, this really is a good mystery. Timmy may not be Timmy at all…or so it would seem.

I can tell you, though, that Mommy will never solve her crossword puzzle, because mothers can never finish anything they start for all the interruptions they get.
